Day 2/35 – Part 2/3

Singapore Botanic Gardens

National Orchid Garden

There is also an Orchid garden you have to pay for. They have many species here. A bit reluctant I get my camera. The lens immediately fogs and it takes quite a while before I can start doing something with it. It is difficult to take proper photographs under these conditions. There is little light and I miss my tripod dearly. I would have liked to use the polarizer as well, but it is just to dark to photograph without proper support. Focus stacking would be perfect hier to get the flowers completely sharp. Suboptimal colorouring and less sharp photographs, but it just has to do.

These white flowers I find everywhere in the garden. Very beautiful and photogenic.

Anthurium

Suddenly, I see a squirl zipping through the trees. For only a brief moment it sits still for a nice photograph.
