Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 7/21

Day 7 describes a trip of 1087 kilometers from Yoho National Park to Yellowstone National Park. This was a very long day starting with a whopping sunrise at The Kicking Horse River and a 134 megapixel panorama at Moraine Lake, followed by a long drive through beautiful Montana with vivid green meadows, lots of deer, a Canadian Crane family and finally ending in a violent thunderstorm. Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 6/21

Day 6 describes a trip of 485 kilometers in the area of Yoho National Park. This was a day with suprising photographic opportunies, my first Grizzly bear, a Scottisch marriage at the shore of Emerald Lake, a stunning waterfall and spectacular colors of the Kicking Horse River at night. Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 5/21

Day 5 describes a trip of 758 kilometers to Wells Gray Provincial Park. This was a day of waterfalls, invention of a new technique to photograph waterfalls in full daylight, bears not showing up and difficult decisions about the next destination. Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 4/21

Day 4 describes 360 kilometers of exploration in Jasper National Park around the town of Jasper. Visits include Pyramid Lake, Patricia Lake, a beautiful Aspen forest and Maligne Lake. Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 3/21

Day 3 descibes a roadtrip of 321 kilometer from Lake Louise to Jasper via The Icefields Parkway. Stops include Herbert Lake, Lake Louise, Peyto Lake, Bridal Veil Falls, the Athabasca Glacier and Weeping Wall Falls. Wild animals encountered and photographed are Black Bear, Bighorn Sheep and Mountain Goat. Read the full story and see all photographs here. Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 2/21

Day 2 describes a roadtrip of 346 kilometer from Banff to Radium Hot Springs and back to Lake Louise. Hikes and stops include Johnston Canyon, Numa Falls, The Paint Pots and Herbert Lake. Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 1/21

After a lot of preparation, description and photographs for the first day of my recent photo travel adventure in Canada have been finalised. It describes the day of travel from The Netherlands to Canada and the first evening in Banff National Park. This first day provided me with nice views on the Vermillion Lakes after a drive of 156 kilometers from Calgary to Banff. Read the full story and see all photographs here.
