Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 8/21

Day 8 describes the first exploratory day in Yellowstone National Park. It took a total of 401 kilometers to complete the loop road counter clock wise, visiting Black Sand Basin, West Thumb Geyser Basin and Hayden Valley. Canada, Yellowstone and Grand Teton – Spring – Day 7/21

Day 7 describes a trip of 1087 kilometers from Yoho National Park to Yellowstone National Park. This was a very long day starting with a whopping sunrise at The Kicking Horse River and a 134 megapixel panorama at Moraine Lake, followed by a long drive through beautiful Montana with vivid green meadows, lots of deer, a Canadian Crane family and finally ending in a violent thunderstorm. This was a day with suprising photographic opportunies, my first Grizzly bear, a Scottisch marriage at the shore of Emerald Lake, a stunning waterfall and spectacular colors of the Kicking Horse River at night.
